“Meeting my wife” – Rapper MI

Popular rapper Jude Abaga popularly known as MI has revealed how he met his wife Eniola Mafe after he went through a bad breakup with his estranged girlfriend.

The rapper said he tried to rekindle his relationship with his ex-girlfriend but it didn’t work out, so he decided to look for someone else.

He went so far as to try to find love on dating apps, but said he couldn’t find the woman of his dreams there.

The ‘African Rapper No. 1’ singer said it was Chocolate City co-founder Audu Maikoli who asked Eniola Mafe to marry him.

In the latest episode of the Tee With Tee podcast, MI said: How do you go on a date? I tried matching apps, but I couldn’t find the woman of my dreams. So I thought I’d ask people. When I asked Odu (Maikoli), he said, “There’s a girl named Eniola Mafe.” And I was like, “Let’s take a look.” He said so, so I posted her on Instagram. Now, when I was young, I often said that the woman I wanted to marry had an afro (haircut). She pulled up her DP and she had an afro hair.

“I looked at her page and thought, ‘Are you saying this woman isn’t married?’ Does that mean she’s divorced? That’s what I saw, That was my first thought based on how she looked and what she was into. If I ever get an opportunity like that, I’ll get out of my seat. So I hit her now. I… I followed her. The next day she saw something in my story. She responded to it and we started chatting. As soon as we started talking, we couldn’t stop. Then the story… The first time we talked, we talked for two hours. The third time we talked, we talked for three hours.

“When I met Eniola, I knew I had met someone who I wanted to continue to be a part of. And that’s what marriage is about. Everything else just flows from there. .”
