Mbaha orders verification of local government officials

The directive was revealed in a public service announcement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Chidiber Onia.

According to the announcement, the train will start from December 1, 2023 to the top of February 2024, and all local government staff are scheduled to report back to work.

The announcement reads:

“Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mba has directed the verification and biometric verification of all local government officials within the state.

“The Verification Committee will probably be inaugurated on Friday, December 1, 2023 on the Government House, Enugu.

“The verification exercise will begin on the same Friday, December 1, 2023, and will continue until the end of February 2024, with the verification committee randomly visiting any of the 17 local governments in the state on working days. shall be carried out.”

“Workers are anticipated to come back to work with their appointment letters and work schedules for verification and biometric verification. It disappears.

“This announcement also directs all local governments to henceforth submit the previous week’s attendance list to the Office of the Secretary to State Government on Wednesday via email address [email protected].”
