Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford has sparked reconciliation rumors with ex-fiancee Lucia Loi after they were spotted together on a date night last week.

The English star, 26, is said to have booked a restaurant in Manchester for a romantic evening with Lucia.

Their first joint appearance since their breakup sparked speculation that the former couple are giving things another go.

According to The Sun, Marcus rented the cellar of a French wine bar with capacity for 18 people for his night with Lúcia, also 26 years old.

There was clearly no expense spared for the lavish night out, as bottles of champagne at the bar apparently retail for £950.

A source said: “They were there for hours laughing and joking. It’s a really cool place and he reserved everything just for the two of them. He couldn’t stop smiling.

The couple, who met and started dating at school, called off their engagement earlier this year.

Since they apparently got together, Lucia has not been seen wearing the engagement ring that Marcus used to propose to her.

It was reported in June that they had split two months earlier after Marcus was photographed enjoying the single life in Miami.

He was photographed returning to the hotel at 5am alongside a personal trainer after a party together.

While in Miami, it was claimed he had an exclusive cabin with private five-star hospitality.

He is said to have chatted with the girls while enjoying the champagne and food that was delivered to his table.

An onlooker told the publication: ‘Pretty girls were flocking to Marcus at the hotel.’

Marcus was also spotted relaxing on a yacht in Ibiza with a bevy of bikini-clad beauties during a pre-season trip to the island with his team.

The English footballer got engaged in May last year, but according to a source “the relationship ran its course”, with the pair remaining “very close friends”.

A source told MailOnline of the split: “Marcus and Lucia have not been together for several months. It’s not complicated at all; the relationship ran its course and they remain very close friends and have a lot of mutual respect.

“Marcus is focused on the next phase of his football career and is putting all his focus into it. He is about to return to the UK after a successful trip coaching kids in Miami, and will head to England’s training camp this week.
