Man arrested for attacking Lagos State building staff with spells

The General Manager of Lagos State Building Control Agency, Gbolahan Oki, has revealed that staff of the agency were attacked with weapons and charms during a routine monitoring exercise along Musical Village, Awolowo Road, in Ikorodu area of ​​the state .

This was revealed in a statement on the LASBCA Facebook page on Thursday, January 4th.

According to the statement, the attacker was handed over to security agents for prosecution.

Oki said: “These attackers not only obstruct our staff, but also hold them hostage for hours. These acts of vandalism will not prevent us from carrying out our duties.

“Fortunately, we managed to overcome these attacks without any casualties. The resilience and quick responses of our people played a crucial role in subduing the attackers and preventing more serious consequences.”

In the statement, Oki appealed to the general public to support the agency in its mission to curb the threat of building collapses across the state.

It said: “Incidents of harassment and attacks tend to compromise the agency’s monitoring activities and can pose significant threats to the public.

He urged citizens to collaborate to ensure the safety and integrity of structures that will promote a safe environment for all.
