Socio-political commentator Aisha Yesufu questioned President Bola Tinubu’s academic claims.
Mr Yesufu challenged President Tinubu’s Special Assistant on Intelligence and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga, to persuade the President to visit his alma mater.
She made the call while reacting to the visit of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, to her old primary school in Jada, Adamawa State.
Atiku posted a video of the visit on his social media and wrote: Today I’m back to where it all started. My alma mater, Jada Central Elementary School. -AA”
In response, Yesufu posted to X:
“Focus on getting Chief Tinubu, or whatever he chooses to call himself today, to go to his alma mater as well.
“By the way, my husband was attending his junior high school reunion over the weekend.”
Recently, there has been controversy over President Tinubu’s academic qualifications, with claims that he has never attended some institutions based on his qualifications.
A well-known such institution is CSU, Chicago State University, which claimed that Tinubu had been admitted and graduated from the university.
