Lagos ranked as the city with the worst road traffic in the world (see top 10)

Lagos State ranks as the most traffic-congested city in the world.
This is according to the World Traffic Congestion Ranking 2023 by Traffic Index.
In second place was the Latvian city of Riga, and in third place was Tehran, the capital and largest city of Iran.
Fourth place was Mexico City, Mexico, fifth place was Mumbai, India, and sixth place was Krakow, Poland.
