Kwara United coach Dogo aims for continental football next season

Kwara United technical advisor, Kabiru Dogo, has revealed the team’s objectives for the 2024-25 Nigeria Premier Football League season.

Dogo said his main goal is to get the team into the CAF Champions League.

The experienced tactician disclosed this at a media get-together in Ilorin on Monday.

Dogo also expressed his desire to win the NPFL title.

“Kwara United are good enough to compete in the CAF Champions League next season. The team has a lot of good players who can perform on the African continent,” the former El Kanemi Warriors tactician said.

“If you look at the statistics from last season, the gap between us and the winning team (Rangers) was the number of draws and I wasn't happy with that.

“Our main target is to win the title next season and bring smiles to the faces of the people of Kwara State.

“We should thank the management of Kwara United FC for giving us free reign in running the team as they are doing everything in their power to retain quality players who can make a huge difference to the team.”
