Koleosho scores Burnley’s first EPL goal against Sheffield in a 5-0 win

US-born Nigerian winger Lucas Koleosho scored his first Premier League goal as Burnley beat 10-man Sheffield United 5-0 on Saturday.

It was Coleosho’s 14th Premier League look for struggling Burnley.

The 19-year-old scored in the seventy fifth minute to offer Burnley a 4-0 lead.

The win against Sheffield ended a seven-game shedding streak for Koleosho and his Burnley team-mates.

Burnley are at the moment in 18th place with seven factors after 14 league matches.

Coleosho was born and raised in the United States to a Nigerian father and an Italian-Canadian mom, making him eligible to symbolize the United States, Canada, Nigeria and Italy.

In June 2023, Azzurini ultimately received his second continental title when he was chosen to symbolize Italy on the UEFA European Under-19 Championship in Malta.

On November 21, 2023, he made his debut in a qualifying match against the Ireland U-21 Italian National Team.
