Kogi United sack two team coaches
The management of Kogi United Football Club has sacked its technical advisor, Suleiman Adamu, and the feeder team’s chief coach, Tanim Nayasi.
Kogi United Feeders team chairman Abdulmalik Isah announced the dismissal in a statement on Tuesday.
Isa said the two tacticians would not renew their contracts with the feeder team after their expiration.
However, the Kogi United Feeders team management has appointed former Kogi United FC assistant coach, Musa Abubakar, and former club captain, Tenim Abubakar, as technical advisor and chief coach respectively. He then announced that he would be taking over from them.
“The management would like to thank Coach Suleiman Adamu and Tanim Nayasi Maja for their contribution to the club and wish them the best of luck in their future endeavours.
“We advise the newly appointed directors to utilize their rich experience for the advancement and development of the Kogi United feeder team,” the statement added.
