The Kogi Off-Cycle Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, presided over by the President of the Court of Appeals (COA), Justice Monica Bornaan Donban, is scheduled to convene on Saturday.
The Clerk of the Court, Mr David Umar Mike, confirmed this to reporters in Lokoja on Thursday.
In the November 11 election, Usman Ododo of the All Progressives Congress (APC) won with 446,237 votes, while his main challenger Murtala Ajaka of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) won 259,052 votes. got the vote.
The court clerk said: “By the grace of God, the court is scheduled to meet this Saturday, November 25th, and we will file a motion for immunity.
“Because all we have now is the exparte motion that will be taken that Saturday.
“However, the formal work will take several more days as the lawyers have to go to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and other lawyers for documents before filing the various petitions. there is a possibility.”
