The party stated: “We at this time appeal to the INEC Chairman and Management for inspection of election materials to be used in the November 11, 2023 gubernatorial election in Kogi, pending the decision on the notification motion filed by INEC and INEC. We urge you to stop immediately.'' Others set aside the testing order.

“INEC should initiate disciplinary proceedings against the REC against Dr. Longpet, which has been grossly violated by the SDP and its candidates.

“This is because the message from the REC to INEC officials to report for inspection on Thursday, January 4th, is an admission of his wrongdoing and puts the final nail in the coffin of his wrongdoing in the state. .

“He, the REC, misrepresented the integrity and legal interests of INEC. The Commission should suspend or reassign Mr. Kogi’s REC pending the outcome of the disciplinary proceedings against him.”
