Kebbi police commander loses police officer in solo accident

A lone motor vehicle accident on Sunday claimed the life of a police officer from the Kebbi State Police Command.

According to the command’s image creator, SP Nafiu Abubakar, the only accident reportedly occurred along the Koko/Jega road.

He explained that the police Toyota Land Cruiser Jeep with registration number 5465D was transporting nine police officers to a crime scene in Kendawa village of Dutsinmali in Koko/Besse local government area when its tire burst. did.

He added that the vehicle somersaulted several times, killing Inspector Syed Idiya and injuring eight others, who are currently receiving treatment at the Kebbi Federal Medical Center in Birnin Kebbi.

“The deceased inspector was buried according to Islamic rites, while the injured officers are still in the hospital,” the PPRO announced.
