Kebbi government praises vigilante group for neutralizing notorious kidnapper

The Kebbi State Government has counseled members of the vigilante group in Kanzanna General Area for neutralizing Dogo Oro, a notorious kidnapper who terrorized two native government areas within the state.

The reward was included in a press release by the governor’s chief spokesperson, Ahmed Idris, in Birnin Kebbi on Saturday.

He mentioned Oro had made life troublesome for folks residing in Bunza and Kargo Local Government Areas.

Mr Idris mentioned the government was glad with experiences that criminals had been eradicated by some members of the vigilante group in Tunga village in Tiri constituency of Bunza Local Council.

“The success of the operation adds great hope that our communities will be able to resettle in their various homes and villages and resume normal operations, especially in the Kanzanna general area,” he added.

Mr. Idris mentioned the latest successes recorded in opposition to prison components will not be unrelated to the safety companies’ holistic method to creating the nation safer for all.

He mentioned Governor Nasir Idris promised additional assist to all safety companies, together with vigilante teams, working to keep up safety within the state.
