Kaduna: Police arrest eight people on suspicion of kidnapping and armed robbery
The Kaduna State Police Command has introduced the arrest of eight suspects on suspicion of kidnapping and armed robbery within the state.
Spokesman of the army command, ASP Mansour Hassan, disclosed this in an announcement on Thursday.
He was arrested on November 17 by operatives of the Maigana Divisional Headquarters headquarters throughout a raid on felony dens at Nuba Farm in Farin Kasa, Sakal and Bargadi villages in Sobha Local Government Area of the state. He stated an individual had been arrested.
He stated preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects, aged between 20 and 27, have been concerned within the abduction of one Kaw Ibrahim Yakasai on August 25.
“Similarly, just lately a person from Bagaldi village turned a sufferer of kidnapping.
“The leader of the Farin Casa village gang is on the run, although he is being pursued. All suspects will face court after investigation.”
He stated the feat was half of renewed efforts to make sure security of lives and property, particularly through the festive season within the state.
