Kaduna court arrests woman for beating her husband and cutting 90 sets of his clothes into pieces during conversations with other women

A Sharia court in Rijiyar Lemu, Kano, Kano State, has ordered the preventive detention of a woman, Hafsa Ibrahim, for beating her husband, Jamilu Muhammad, with a neighborhood iron and cutting 90 sets of his clothes into pieces as a result of she suspected he was speaking to other women on his telephone.

The prosecutor, Usman Shuaibu Dala, advised the court that Hafsa injured her husband by hitting him on the top with a neighborhood iron and used scissors to chop 90 sets of his clothes into pieces and seized his gadget price N80,000.

However, Hafsa denied the allegations.

The Khadi, Umar Sunusi Dan Baba, adjourned the case to December 11, 2023.
