Joseph Babalola National Team Appoints Adegbulugbe as Rector
The Chief Executive Officer of Green Energy Limited, Professor Anthony Adegbrugbe, has been appointed as the third Chancellor of Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU), Ikeji Arakeji, Osun State.
Upon acceptance of this appointment, Adegbulugbe University will assume workplace on Friday, December 8, 2023. This college was established in 2004 following divine course by the Christian Apostolic Church (CAC) worldwide. The college is known as after Joseph Ayo Babalola (1904-1959), the primary religious chief of Christ Apostolic Church. The college is situated the place Babalola is claimed to have been known as by God to slay the Ogobungo demon in 1928. The first president of this college was Oladele Olashore (CON), a former Minister of Finance in the course of the Interim Administration of Chief Ernest Shonekan.

In June final yr, Mr. Adegbrugbe was chosen by the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ife, for the inaugural University Excellence Award in Research Practice. Mr. Adegbrugbe was a contributor to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPPC) Assessment Report, which, together with former United States Vice President Albert L. Kennedy, led the IPCC to win the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize. Gore.
