An Israeli news anchor was caught with a gun live while presenting in the studio, amid fears of another Hamas attack.

Lital Shemesh, presenter for right-wing Israeli broadcaster Channel 14, was photographed on Tuesday, January 2, sitting behind her anchor desk with a gun tucked into the waistband of her pants.

Shemesh's gun is right next to the microphone receivers as she sits on the edge of the host's chair.

Her most recent social media post showed her practicing her shooting skills at a shooting range while asking people to “get your guns.”

She also posted several photos of herself reporting from the front lines, as well as in her soldier uniform.

The journalist and Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reservist has already spoken about the fight against Hamas.

“The entire country is being recruited to fight this war on terrorism, to fight this war against Hamas,” Shemesh told Fox News shortly after the October 7 attack.

“We have not seen a massacre like this in Israel in the 75 years of Israel's existence. This is a second holocaust for us.'

This comes at a time when fears of another Hamas offensive are growing, after the terrorist group killed 1,140 people, most of them civilians, during the October 7 attack, according to a count based on official Israeli data.
