At war with China: Experts urge Congress to wake up to rising infiltration

In the war with China: Experts tell Congress of increasing infiltration and “mass slaughter”

WASHINGTON, DC – At a hearing this week on Capitol Hill, security experts warned lawmakers that China is waging war against the United States, not with bullets or missiles, but with political influence. Analysts warn that China is infiltrating American industry and harming our communities.

Experts reported on the communist regime's increasing efforts to weaken America in quiet but pervasive ways and called on federal authorities to wake up to the new political warfare.

“The U.S. government needs to relearn political warfare and someone needs to be responsible for political warfare and its success or failure,” said Col. Grant Newsham of the Center for Security Policy. “At the moment, no one is, and we should fight back.”

Republicans claim the CCP threat is serious.

“If Democrats don't want to confront the threat of China's political war against the United States, I think that's a grave mistake,” said Rep. James Comer (R-KY).

Ranking member Jamie Raskin (D-MD) claimed that China is just imitating and following Russia. “Russia spreads terror through rape, child abduction, torture and murder – and China supports Russia in this dirty war of aggression by helping Putin rebuild his military-industrial complex,” said Rep. Raskin.

The House special committee is also investigating China's role in the ongoing fentanyl crisis.

“Simply put, without China’s production of fentanyl and fentanyl precursors, there would be no fentanyl crisis in the United States and mass slaughter would virtually cease,” said former U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr.

Barr accused the distributors of the deadly drug of committing outright murder.

“Those who operate and enable this trade know without a doubt that they are killing people en masse,” Barr continued.

Barr alleges that the Chinese Communist Party provides tax breaks to companies that export fentanyl, provides financial aid to companies that produce synthetic narcotics and supports the drug trade.

“To put it in perspective, in the bloodiest year of World War II, we lost 106,000 soldiers killed,” Barr said. “So now, year after year, we suffer from a drug overdose casualty rate that exceeds the death toll we suffered in a world war.”

Barr says the U.S. needs to be aware that China is taking actions to fuel the ongoing fentanyl crisis here in the United States.
