I'm tired of being exploited by movie executives – Henson, actress

American Hollywood star Taraji P. Henson has lamented the exploitation of black women in the entertainment industry.

The “Acrimony” actor lamented that she was tired of being exploited and hearing other black female entertainers complain about the same thing.

In a recent podcast interview with SiriusXM, Henson said she makes far less than she should.

She said: She said: “I’m tired of working so hard and being polite about my work and only getting paid a fraction of the cost.

“I'm tired of my sisters saying the same thing over and over again. It's exhausting. I hear them say, 'You're working hard.' Calculations don't count, and every time you negotiate, you feel like you're starting at the bottom. ” (sic)
