Music money is like a ritual - Sharipopi

Nigerian singer Clown Uzama aka Sharipopi has admitted that he is not a “perfect musician”.

He said he is not a “perfect” singer or songwriter, but has a vibe and is “street lingual.”

The “Obapulto” crooner said that’s why he signed a new record label, Pultomania Records, with artists who are better than him.

Sharipopi said on the latest episode of the Zero Conditions podcast.

“You can’t sign a player who’s better than you. I’m not a very good singer, but I know how to maintain my sound. This guy has a game or a crazy voice. I’m not a perfect musician as much as people say I am. I’m not that type of artist. I call myself a vibe artist. I incorporate street language into my music, so I’m not that type of artist. I have fans who relate to my music.”

Furthermore, he added: “I’m a talker, not a rapper. Talking is my genre of music.”
