Former Minister of Education, Obiageli Ezekwesili, has said that if it were not for the “rot of the Nigerian Judiciary”, the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, would not have been a senator, let alone the President of the country’s Senate.
Ezekwesili stated this in a post shared on his X on Wednesday, November 22, while reacting to the clash between some members of the minority group in the Senate with Akpabio on Tuesday, November 21.
In her words;
”Our sharply declining Nigerian democracy was apparently further attacked by @Senator_Akpabio, who should never have responded to the title of senator let alone “President of the Senate” if not for the rot in the country’s judiciary

who obviously threw caution to the wind and allowed himself to be corrupted and captured by decadent politicians.
Mr Akpabio is regrettably caught in the web of arrogance.
We should remind him and his group of Democracy Destroyers of the wise and legendary words of Marianne Williamson:
“Empires always have the arrogance to think they are indestructible, when in fact they are always unsustainable.”
However, there was hope to see the voices of the Opposition Party finally doing what Democracy demands of them. Congratulations to
