The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, says he saved no less than N110 billion for the FCT in his three months in office.
Wike disclosed this on Tuesday, November 21, when he met with property developers and residents associations at the FCDA Conference Hall in Abuja.
Wike said the money he saved would go towards projects to speed up their completion.
“Three months in office, I can tell you with authority, I have saved no less than N110 billion for the FCT and that money will be invested in projects so that people can actually see that the taxes we are paying are being used for the interest of the people,” he said.
The former governor of Rivers State disclosed that the Federal Capital Territory would launch its bus and taxi scheme next month.
