“I learned Yoruba from YouTube” – singer Teni

Popular singer Teniola Apata (Teni for short) has revealed that he learned Yoruba from YouTube.

The 31-year-old singer said that even though his parents are Yoruba, he learned how to speak Yoruba while in America by watching Yoruba movies on YouTube.

She revealed this on a recent episode of her podcast “Zero Conditions.”

She said, “Do you know how I learned to speak Yoruba?” When I went to America. I found out about it on YouTube. I used to watch Yoruba movies like crazy. ”

In the interview, Amai also revealed that she started drinking alcohol in 2021.

Until then, she said, she didn’t drink or smoke.

The singer added that he started drinking alcohol just “for fun.”
