CDS Musa called for improved funding, revealing that all military personnel, including himself, are given a meal for N1,500 a day, while ensuring that criminals are not released on technical grounds and that special courts requested the cooperation of law enforcement authorities to deal with the arrest of senior officials. criminal.

He expressed concern that the safety of security personnel would be at risk, adding that Simon Ekpa was a threat to the country and action must be taken diplomatically.

Regarding illegal mining, Musa expressed hope that the state would take over proper management.

IGP Kayode Egbetokun outlined several challenges within the force, including inadequate logistics facilities, insufficient patrol vehicles in the police department, inadequate training and poor welfare of staff.
