Former President Muhammadu Buhari has said he will not miss anything at the Presidential Villa.
The former head of state appeared on the IRS earlier this week and gave some insight into his administration and life since taking the country’s No. 1 job.
Buhari led Nigeria for eight years, but many Nigerians believe he left the country with a worse economy than it was at the time.
Buhari said he suspected he had missed something as president and thanked God for giving him the opportunity to serve the country.
He said it was up to Nigerians to judge his performance during his time in office, insisting that he could not sway their opinion.
When asked what he missed, he replied: “Miss?” he added, laughing. I don’t think I missed much. ” Pressed to say at least one thing he missed, he said: People have different opinions, but I am thankful to God.
“God gave me the opportunity to serve my people, so I did my best. It’s up to the people to decide if my best is good enough.”
