President Bola Tinubu said his past accomplishments had established him as president and he deserved to be included in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Tinubu said during his eight years as governor, he transformed Lagos State from nothing to Africa’s fifth largest economy.
Speaking at the 10th Germany-Nigeria Business Forum in Berlin, Tinubu said he would explore ways to get his name entered into the Guinness Book of World Records.
The president also revealed that he has embarked on reforms to get Nigerians to vote for him.
Tinubu said: I’m one of you who comes from the private sector and was trained by Deloitte. I was the finance director for ExxonMobil. If you define corporate governance one way or another, I belong to that definition.
“Today, I can proudly and proudly say that Lagos State has risen from the ground up to become Africa’s fifth largest economy. This is the accomplishment that led me to become the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“Nigeria voted for me for reform and I started reforming from my first day in office. For me, if you didn’t put me in the Guinness Book of Records, I would have done it without any expectations. So I’m going to work hard to find a way to insert myself, and my inaugural address made it clear what I would do.”
