“I cannot be a good president and I will not vote.” - Bishop Kukah

“I cannot be a good president and I will not vote.” – Bishop Kukah

Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah of the Sokoto Catholic Diocese has downplayed the possibility of running for president despite urgings from Nigerians.

Kukah said he could not be a good president because Nigerians do not want a good or holy man to govern.

He spoke at the 8th Judicial Council Summit held in Kaduna State.

“For the past 30 years, many people have said to me, ‘Please come vote,'” Kuka said. Come and contest for the position of President of Nigeria. ”

“Mr. Oga, please finish the parish work first. Because if I were under such an illusion, many people would have said to me, “We will pay for it.” You don’t have to pay because you believe you can be a good president. ”

“But I know that I will not be a good president, because a good president is not what you are looking for.

“I mean, what do you mean by good?”
