Nigerian rapper and singer, Folarin Falana, aka Fals the Bahadguy, has recalled a near-death experience he had with a member of his band Bad Guys 10 years ago.
According to him, the incident happened in 2013 between Abuja and Lokoja after he had his first one million naira gig in Abuja and was scheduled to go to another gig in Benin.
The lawyer-turned-rapper said their car was attacked by about five gunmen, killing the driver instantly and leaving the car abandoned, eventually crashing into a forest.
When they regained consciousness, they saw the hoodlums and demanded money from them, he said.
He said he told the thugs he had no money and threatened them multiple times before fleeing with the gunman on the road when he heard police sirens.
The multi-faceted entertainer said police eventually came to her rescue after many private vehicles refused to take her to the hospital.
In the latest episode of the Untapped Podcast, Falz said that he and his bandmates both have scars on their bodies from injuries sustained in the incident.
