Heunggi Central Market burnt down
The popular Kogi Central Market in Kabba was gutted by fire on Monday.
The fire, which broke out in the early morning hours, destroyed many businesses and livelihoods, leaving traders and local residents in shock and grief.
Sympathizers rushed to the scene to prevent further spread of the infection, but despite their efforts, the intensity of the inferno made it difficult.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway, with authorities working to determine whether it was caused by an electrical fault, negligence or other factors.
Meanwhile, Kabah residents blame the lack of fire-fighting equipment in the market that would have helped extinguish the fire.
