Gunmen kill one, kidnap chief, his wife, three children and others in Abuja

Gunmen killed one resident and abducted eight others, including a chief, his wife and three children, in Mpape community, Bwari Area Council, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

According to Daily Trust, around 30 armed men invaded the community in the GRA area, on the outskirts of the city, at around 9pm on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, and broke into at least six houses, including the palace of the chief.

A resident, Josephine David, said the boss, Peter David, who was her brother, was kidnapped along with his wife and three children.

There were no comments on the incident from the FCT Police Command and other security bodies in the territory.
