Gunmen kidnap nurse, shoot her husband in Osun and demand N10m ransom

The kidnappers abducted a nurse, identified as Mrs. Sadia Ogunyinka and shot her husband in Osun State.

Ogunyinka was said to have been abducted while she was returning from her farm along Iwo/Ileogbo Road in Osun on Friday, November 17, 2023.

The gunmen gathered to shoot her husband in the leg before sending the nurse to an unknown destination.

Ogunyinka was said to be a staff nurse at the Department of Primary Care, Ola-Oluwa LG, Bode-Osi, Osun State.

Colleagues of the victims added that they were attacked on farms to support the family, as the kidnappers were said to have initially demanded N20m before the price was reduced to N10m.
