Governor Uzodinma has shown lack of leadership ability over the past three years – ADC


The African Democratic Congress (ADC) says Governor Hope Uzodinma has wasted three years and 10 months as governor of Imo State.

The paper stated the governor has did not show his capability and help of indigenes to successfully fight insecurity and restore sustainable peace in Imo.

ADC South East National Vice Chairman Chiros Godsent stated this in a press release on Thursday following the current chilly-blooded killing of a Nigeria Police officer by unknown gunmen in Ahiara Mbaise on Monday.

The ADC leadership acknowledged that Mr. Uzodinma had shown adequate political will since the inauguration of the present authorities in combating banditry in the nation, however that his technique had been insufficient.

“Governor Uzodinma’s technique is crude and bandit-like and should not yield the anticipated optimistic outcomes.

“Ever since Senator Hope Uzodinma assumed workplace as Governor of Imo State in January 2020, it’s on report that the state’s financial system has continued to deteriorate. “It has caused untold suffering,” the ADC claimed.

He known as on the authorities to publish its achievements since its inception in 2020.

“The ADC noted that the APC government led by Senator Uzodinma does not have programs on agriculture, education, health, housing, industry, infrastructure, security, youth and women development, etc.,” the ADC stated.
