Governor Sule visits APC national chairman after winning appeal court
Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State on Thursday called on the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, to thank him for the recent favorable judgment of the Abuja Court of Appeal.
Sule was flanked by his predecessors, Senators Abdullahi Adamu and Umar Tanko Al Makra, who overturned an earlier ruling by the Electoral Court that had initially ousted him and declared PDP’s David Ombugadu the winner. He expressed his gratitude for the appellate court’s decision.
Other attendees who accompanied Governor Sule were Nasarawa State Representative on the Federal Executive Committee (FEC) and Minister of Police (State) Mrs. Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, Abubakar Hassan Nararaba, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nasarawa State House of Assembly; Ibrahim Abdullahi Balarabe.
DAILY POST had earlier reported that after the court verdict sacked Sule and declared Ombugadu the winner, Ganduje said, “Nasarawa belongs to APC, APC belongs to Nasarawa, we are in charge and we will continue to be in charge.” I will continue to be in charge,” he recalled.
