Governor Sanwo-Olu dismisses Mr. Bolaji Oreagba as LASTMA chairman and announces his successor.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Friday sacked the Commissioner of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), Bolaji Oreagba.

Mr. Sanwo-Olu also appointed Mr. Bakare Oki Olalekan as acting GM of LASTMA with immediate effect.

Mr. Olawale Musa, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Transport, announced the development in a statement, explaining that Mr. Bakare Oki’s appointment was to continue improving performance and effective traffic management on Lagos roads.

Prior to his appointment, Mr. Bakare Oki served as Deputy Director of Logistics and Engineering at LASTMA.

While congratulating Bakare Oki on his appointment, the governor highly appreciated the outgoing General Manager’s dedication and achievements to the state.
