Man City vs. Liverpool: 'We caused them problems' - Klopp's verdict on EPL match

Europa League: Bad game – Klopp reacts to 3-0 loss to Atalanta

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp criticized his team's performance in Thursday night's Europa League quarter-final first leg against Atalanta.

Former West Ham striker Gianluca Scammaca scored twice as the Serie A side won 3-0 at Anfield.

Speaking to TNT Sports after the game, Klopp said there was nothing positive to come out of the defeat.

He said: “Oh, unfortunately I can't say anything really positive about this match. It started well. Darwin Nunez had some good moments, but from that moment on it turned into a really bad match. I can't say anything positive.

“I didn't like the tactical positioning during possession. We passed the ball there and gave them one situation and then they were all chasing another player.

“We scored a goal for offside, but it was a bad game for us. Atalanta played a good game, scored three goals and deserved the win.”
