EPL: Totally unfair – Pochettino defends Chelsea duo
Chelsea supervisor Mauricio Pochettino has defended his membership’s summer season signings Moises Caicedo and Roberto Sanchez, who’re set to face former membership Brighton within the Premier League on Sunday.
Chelsea broke the English switch file when Sanchez spent £25 million beating Premier League rivals Liverpool to signal Caicedo.
Neither Caicedo nor Sanchez have been capable of reproduce the shape they repeatedly displayed throughout their time at Brighton.
But Pochettino believes the comparability is “unfair” given the extent of turmoil at Chelsea.
Speaking at Friday’s pre-match press convention forward of Chelsea’s sport towards Brighton, Pochettino mentioned:
“I believe the issue is that we’re tempted to match gamers from one season to a different when it isn’t truthful. Different environments, completely different moments, and the place we’re at proper now.
“As for Robert, he hasn’t performed within the final three or 4 months after which he arrived within the switch window, when he was already taking part in within the Premier League with out a pre-season and in an emotional state of affairs. I believe Moises has arrived.” It occurred to him.

“It’s completely unfair to compare players from one season to another and of course I have no doubt that they will perform to our expectations.”
