EPL: People want Man City relegated – Guardiola talks about Everton’s 10-point deduction
Manchester City manager Josep Guardiola has claimed that some people want the club to be relegated to the National Conference.
Guardiola spoke to the media on Friday ahead of Liverpool’s Premier League visit.
Last week, Everton were given a 10-point deduction for breaching the league’s Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules.
The suspension raises questions about the 115 charges against Citi.
Guardiola was asked about Everton’s points deduction in relation to Man City’s 115-point charge, and replied: A lawyer is the person who defends you in front of a judge. I didn’t change my opinion. Accept the resolution and then wait.
“I’m not going to say a single word about Everton because I don’t know the reality of what happened. Those are two completely different cases. I’m sure some people will say, why aren’t City in the conference? let’s wait.
“These are two different cases, and they are not the same. One of them is longer and more complicated.”
