EPL: Melson reveals to Pochettino names of 3 players who must start against Newcastle

Arsenal legend Paul Merson has urged Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino to stick with his front three of Cole Palmer, Nicholas Jackson and Raheem Sterling against Newcastle United.

Chelsea face Newcastle in a Premier League match at St James’s Park on Saturday.

The Blues currently sit 10th in the Premier League, four points behind Newcastle in seventh place.

“This is going to be another big match. This is one of those matches where the outcome depends on the ability of the players,” Merson told Sportskeeda.

“Chelsea are starting to adapt to Mauricio Pochettino’s style. At the moment they can give any team a run for their money.

“I think Chelsea need to continue to use Nicholas Jackson, Raheem Sterling and Cole Palmer in attack. Sterling and Palmer are in great form and they will be key here as well.”
