Legendary Arsenal goalkeeper David Seaman has said he will be forced to change his sticks when manager Mikel Arteta travels to Brentford this weekend.
According to Seaman, Aaron Ramsdale will start as goalkeeper for the Gunners ahead of David Raya.
Ramsdale has not featured since Raya joined Emirates on loan in the summer.
Raya, 25, has only played in the Carabao Cup since being eliminated and will be given a chance to play on Saturday as he is ineligible to play against his parent club, where he was loaned to Arsenal in August.
Seaman told the BBC: “If he doesn’t play it will affect his chances[of playing for England].”
“If I’m right, he’ll play this weekend. Raya is on loan so he won’t be able to play[against his parent club Brentford].
“Aaron will come in and get an opportunity and then we’ll see what really happens.”
