EPL: ‘He was really bad on the ball’ – Carragher criticizes Liverpool star

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher singled out goalkeeper Alisson for criticism after the Reds’ 1-1 Premier League draw with Manchester City on Saturday.

Carragher said the Brazilian was “really bad on the ball” in the encounter at the Etihad.

Goals from Erling Haaland and Trent Alexander-Arnold meant Man City and Liverpool shared one point each.

However, Carragher was disappointed with Alisson’s performance against Josep Guardiola’s side.

“Alison didn’t have his best game,” Carragher said on Sky Sports after the match.

“He was really bad on the ball. His clearances could have cost Liverpool a few times late in the game.”

Of Dias’ second-half canceled goal, Carragher added: “For me, Alisson and Liverpool were very lucky.” Very lucky. If the referee does not recognize it, VAR cannot say it is a foul. There is no other way in the world. ”
