Manchester City manager Josep Guardiola and Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez clashed after a 1-1 draw in the Premier League on Saturday.
Trent Alexander-Arnold canceled out Erling Haaland’s opener and both teams shared the points.
After the match, there appeared to be an argument between Guardiola and Nuñez.
Reds manager Jurgen Klopp had to pull the player out, but Pep Lijnders, Klopp’s assistant, stopped Guardiola.
“He’s just stronger than me,” Guardiola said after the match.
“Nothing happened. It’s not frustration. I’m really happy. What’s the second question in the press conference?”
Klopp said: “I don’t know if I should explain because I wasn’t involved at all.” Surprisingly.
“I love both of them so much that I tried to calm the situation without knowing the words and not knowing 100 percent what happened. I really think it’s not something that hasn’t been sorted out yet. It’s an emotion. Pep wants to win. We want to win.
“None of us are really happy because neither of us won.”
