EPL: Fraudster accuses Chelsea star of ‘pathetic’ behavior


Former Manchester United attacker Garth Crooks has called Reece James’ “pathetic and unnecessary” use of Chelsea’s Reece James during the Blues’ 4-1 Premier League defeat to Newcastle United last weekend. vehemently criticized.

Crooks was not happy with James’ performance in Chelsea vs Newcastle at St James’s Park.

Chelsea finished the game with just 10 men after James was sent off after receiving a second yellow card in the 73rd minute.

Crooks gave the England player two unnecessary warnings which led to his sending off.

Crooks told BBC Sport: “I don’t think I’ve ever seen a game quite like it. Reece James was sent off for two of the most pathetic and unnecessary sending offs I’ve ever seen.” he told BBC Sport.

He added: “Thiago Silva played as if his head was elsewhere and Chelsea ran out with four goals to their name.”

James was the first to receive a yellow card for kicking the ball away early in the second half.

He was then given a second yellow in the 73rd minute for dragging down Anthony Gordon.

His red card means he will miss Chelsea’s next Premier League game against Brighton on Sunday.
