EPL: Fabrizio Romano names 3 teams to compete for title

Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has named three teams likely to compete for the Premier League title this season.

According to Romano, those are Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool.

The Gunners now sit top of the table with 30 points after defeating Brentford 1-0.

Mikel Arteta’s side have one point more than City, who drew 1-1 with Liverpool last weekend.

“As expected, it looks like this year’s (Premier League) title race is going to be a very open battle. There’s no one running away from this and I expect it to stay close to that over the coming months.

“I’m impressed with Arsenal and see them fighting for the title until the end. I’d still say Man City are the favorites, but Arsenal are there and It will continue to be there.

“Liverpool have also shown that they are ready to compete. They are currently third but are very close to the top, so it looks like it will be a very interesting battle this season.

“We expected it to be mainly between City and Arsenal, but it looks like Liverpool will also be involved,” Romano told CaughtOffside.
