EPL: Disapprove of Chelsea – Malouda slams Pochettino and Bory
Former Chelsea star Florent Malouda has slammed manager Mauricio Pochettino, saying he “doesn’t approve” of the club under his guidance.
Malouda was also critical of Todd Boley’s Chelsea, claiming there had been no stability in management since taking over the Premier League club from Roman Abramovich.
Speaking to John Obi Mikel on the Obi Wan Podcast, Malouda has called for Pochettino to stop talking about his “project” at Stamford Bridge.
Recall that Chelsea had spent around £800m under Bailey before Pochettino’s appointment, but last summer that spending exceeded the £1bn mark.
Despite spending heavily on players in the last two transfer windows, Pochettino’s side currently sit 10th in the Premier League with 16 points from 12 games.
“I don’t really know much about them except for the color of their shirts,” Malda said.
“I think the club uses too many keywords in terms of projects and other things.
“It takes time to build anything of value, and since the new ownership (Todd Boley) came into place, we haven’t seen any stability in the management team.”
