Chelsea have been given two injury reinforcements ahead of this weekend’s Premier League match against Newcastle United.
Chelsea duo Levi Colwill and Maro Gusto have returned to training ahead of the match against Newcastle.
Recall that Colwill was withdrawn from the England squad ahead of the final Euro 2024 qualifiers against Malta and North Macedonia due to a shoulder problem.
He also missed Chelsea’s 4-4 draw with Manchester City before the international break.
Meanwhile, Gust withdrew from the France U-21 national team due to a knee injury.
However, there was some good news for Mauricio Pochettino’s side this week, with both defenders back on the training pitch and expected to be available for Saturday’s game against Newcastle.
