EPL: Brentford give Arsenal conditions to release Tony in January

Brentford manager Thomas Frank has made it clear that only an “incredible” offer would be enough to sell Ivan Toney during the January transfer window.

Toney, who is currently serving an eight-month ban for gambling, has been linked with a move to Arsenal.

However, the 27-year-old striker is scheduled to return on January 20th.

Speaking ahead of the Bees' FA Cup third-round tie against Wolves, Frank insisted Toney would remain at the club beyond the winter transfer window.

“He's a Brentford player and he's here. We're missing some attacking players and I don't see why we should sell him.

Frank said: “It's not for me to discuss (an offer), but if it was recommended, it would have to be an incredible price. So he'll stay here.” Told.
