EPL: Arsenal not strong enough – Dan names Man City team to fight for title

Former Manchester City captain Richard Dunne has insisted that Arsenal are not strong enough to challenge Josep Guardiola’s side for the Premier League title this season.

Dunn said this while citing Liverpool as the only team that can compete with Man City for the title this season.

After 12 games in the Premier League, Manchester City currently lead the table with 28 points, followed by Liverpool and Arsenal with 27 points, Tottenham with 26 points and Aston Villa with 25 points.

When asked about the title race and who Man City’s biggest challengers are, Dunn told Betway: “City and Liverpool would be up there.”

“It remains to be seen about Arsenal and whether they will be able to compete in the various competitions. Is their team big enough?

“People are already talking about the lack of centre-forwards. They have created their own problems in the goalkeeping department and that seems to be the big problem at the moment.

“Tottenham showed that they are not strong enough with several injuries. I prefer to go to Liverpool.”
