Ekiti State University withdraws from list of 15 “fake” professors

Ekiti State University (EKSU, Ado Ekiti) has disavowed a list of 15 professors associated with the university purportedly released by the National Universities Commission (NUC).

This was contained in a statement signed by the University’s Director of Information and Corporate Affairs, Mr. Bode Olofinmuagung.

The statement reads: “The attention of the management of Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti has been drawn to the list of 15 fake professors allegedly associated with Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti, emanating from the National Universities Commission (NUC). ”.

“The EKSU management wishes to make it abundantly clear that the list distributed and credited to Ekiti State University does not originate from the university.

“And none of the names that appear there are known to the university because they have never worked there.

“Despite the clarity of the NUC on the matter, Ekiti State University categorically condemns and denounces this sinister publication and its potential to negatively impact the image of our esteemed university.” It is equally important to separate oneself from a publication.

“The public is hereby advised and required to ignore the fake list and have no association with the names mentioned therein.”
