EFCC arrests 13 internet fraud suspects in Kano

Officials of the Kano Area Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested 13 suspected internet fraudsters in the Badawa area of ​​Kano metropolis, Kano state.

The commission confirmed this in a statement on its official X-handle on Friday.

The suspects were arrested after intelligence agencies notified them of the presence of a suspected syndicate of internet fraudsters committing cyber-related crimes.

“During the course of the arrest, several incriminating items were recovered from the suspect.

They will be charged in court once the investigation is complete,” the statement said.
