He noted that increasing military presence in Cross River would curb skirmishes along the state border.

Governor Otu expressed delight that the Armed Forces Command and Staff College selected Cross River State as one of its study tour states, stressing the need for better synergies to strengthen the security framework of the state. did.

“Some areas of our state are like battle lines and there are only about four military formations in Cross River,” he said.

Mr. Otu commended the immense contribution of the Nigerian Armed Forces to national security, stability and protection of the territorial integrity of the nation.

He appealed to Nigerians to be proud of their armed forces, whose brave soldiers risk their lives to uphold Nigeria’s sovereignty as one and indivisible entity.
